World Day for Cultural Diversity and Inter-Civilization Dialogue
In 2001, UNESCO adopted the Universal Declaration on Cultural Diversity and in December 2012, the UN General Assembly, in its resolution 57/249, declared May 21st to be the World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development.
UNESCO has recognized cultural diversity as a driving force of development and a means of leading a more fulfilling intellectual, emotional, moral, and spiritual life. And cultural diversity is acknowledged by the UN as an asset that is indispensable for peach, stability, and development, and conducive to respect and mutual understanding in dialogue among civilizations.
But in the final analysis, the UN’s overall worldview is thoroughly political and economic, i.e, globalist, and its views on “culture” are skewed by this bias. The organization is relatively ignorant, therefore, concerning the true nature of culture systems. And as such is unqualified to preserve true cultural diversity or to mediate true intercultural dialogue. This day provides the Noodynamics Institute with an opportunity, therefore, to broaden and deepen the world’s understanding of the true values of cultural diversity and to advance the proper goals of geopolitical discourse.
